Thanks, all.
The pattern was a PDF called "Color Me Crayons" and was simple to follow.
I'll have to see if I have any of the white left. I doubt I have enough of the colours left over to make a binding as they were all fat quarters.
I think you all are right and a swirly pattern would be best.
