I'm working on an Irish Chain quilt for my best friend that has a background of cream and navy blue calico. I'm using it because it's something that she loves, but it's not really anything I would use for myself. Her tastes are much more country/primitive, while I lean toward more traditional (paisleys, French florals) or contemporary prints.
