A few more pictures of Splendid Sampler blocks. One shows and embellishment to the Coneflower that I previously posted and the picture made me realize that something was missing in order to break up the big yellow expanse of the flower center! So I cut out a little bug and learned how to do French knots to give him legs and feet!

Then my sweet cousin sent me tiny clothes pins so I could add interest to a bonus block! Super glue worked well for them again! I'm really happy with my piecing on the one with the flying geese and outer red corners. The pattern called for piecing 2 adjoining HSTs but I went with flying geese instead!

And the last one is another bonus block that I edited. After taking 3 hours to go through my fabrics, back and forth from closet to table I chose what I thought would work. Humpff! Boy, was I wrong (in my mind anyway!) *sigh* So why show it? Well, you are all so nice and congratulatory with your responses that I have to be really humble sometimes!
