The squares are 2 to 2 1/2 inches square (VBG). The blocks measure approx. 32 inches wide by 27 inches tall. My mother loved crafts of all kinds; always looking forward to the next project, she never lingered long enough to square blocks up blocks - I smile every time I look at something she has made.
