Be forewarned! Once you get started using batiks, it is hard to 'go back' to other fabrics! They will look awesome in a cathedral window block. What color are you using for the 'window frame'?
I'm using a batik that is mostly gray with a little bit of green in it. I wanted it to look like lead with a patina to it, kind of like a real "window".
