Hi everybody, and thank you for the compliments.
I lost my job in late October, so spending money on the quilting was put on the back burner.
I just landed a new job, starting Monday (2/1/10). Time to update my profile on the board!
I managed to hang onto my quilting funds, and finally took the quilt over to the longarmer last week. I will have it back in no time, and must get the binding on it without delay, as I just learned that the "local" quilt show/sale is March 20th (and I do want to put it up for sale).
We decided on a variegated thread that's mostly purple, and we're sticking with the relaxed feathers idea. The backing is a blue flannel.
