If you ask a group of quilters what their favorite brand of quilting cotton is...MODA wins every time! When you ask them "why"...they don't always know "why". ( brand recogition? Great marketing? Discuss). The author of the articke may rep for Moda but I have read lots of articles written by him and I have found him to be very fair and informative. There IS a difference in chain vs. premium quilting cotton and he explained it in detail.
