You might want to check out the user reviews posted on sewing pattern review. Only 3 reviews, 2 of them said maybe when it came to recommending this machine. Of course, the reviews are a few years old, but one user was very disappointed with the free motion quilting she tried with this machine. It is a good price, and of course, Costco has a great return policy. You may end up loving the machine...every person is different in their experience with sewing machines, it would seem. My new favorite saying is "It's all just opinion.""
