I really would love to meet with Georgia Bonesteel. When I was getting into quilting again in the '80's there was a series on PBS by Ms Bonesteel. In the series she had one quilt that fascinated me. After going to a few quilt stores and quilt shows, no one had heard of the pattern so I wrote to her. She not only responded to me, she sent me a pattern. That was incredibly nice of her. I have met Eleanor Burns at a Quilt Show. She was nice but very busy. And I would love to meet Deirdre McElroy, another hand quilter, her work is excellent, she wrote a fantastic book and I would love to see her work in person and watch her quilt.
I am always in awe of people that have the imagination to make the patterns and designs.
