As I mentioned before, thanks to those who replied to my actual question. Our little grand puggy can and will walk many kms with us... but her little legs are too short for hiking the mountains.... I'll still keep my eyes open for a solution to our unique situation....but in the meantime.... grammy will carry her if the hike is overwhelming.
