"French Connections" in Pittsboro NC has fabrics, antiques, pottery and baskets from France, Mexico, and all over Africa. Their stuff is GORGEOUS!!!

A couple of things to note...
1) their "standard" fabric width is about 66", instead of the 44" we have here in the US.
2) the "hand" of these fabrics is heavy - and I mean that it feels a little "thicker" than what we're accustomed to here
... so when figuring yardage, you will need to keep those things in mind.

I have encountered them at many shows in the Carolinas, and their stuff is just breath-taking.
And now that I've re-acquainted myself with their site, I'm going to spend some money... like I need more fabric, right?!?
Omg! Though pricy, they are beautiful!!! Had to bookmark it, what a treat for me it would be to get some of those fabrics
