I did a challenge quilt for our quilt guild. They were large flowers. A wall hanging about 40 X 40. I used pink tulle over the whole thing, because that's all I had at the time. Then I proceeded to thread paint the flowers and leaves and such. Turned out very beautiful. Wish I knew how to post a picture. Trust me. It works and you wont regret it.

I found some very fine tulle that is more of a blue gray and it works a lot better than the silvery white. I am still nervous about it but you have given me confidence to forge ahead! I know it will work out fine in the end
