Welcome from New Hampshire! In my home-ec class (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth), we had the quarterback of the football team. In a different class there was another guy who made his own tuxedo for prom. His father had been away at war and his mother had taught him to sew when he was very young. My son took hom-ec in high school and my daughter did not. My son altered his Halloween costume a couple of years ago. My daughter cannot even sew on a button. Your grandmother would be pleased.
