Still running the "money-machine" here on the "cool" side of the thermostat.
We have been lucky on that part this past summer. Our electric bill averaged about $125.00 a month and our house is 1636 sq. ft. plus the shop is 28x 30. The shop is cooled by fans we have talked about putting in a swamp cooler or a window unit.
Our winter bill usually doubles because we have 3 heated dog houses as well as running a heater in the shop to keep the pipes from freezing. And the dog water buckets are heated also.
