Default Flying Geese - Which method do you prefer?

I am making a quilt with quite a number of flying geese and was wondering what method other members have found to be the easiest and the most accurate. I've used the stitch and flip method using a rectangle and two squares with good results but the negative for me is the wastage of the corner triangles that are cut off. Granted, this does result in a small HST which can be used for another project but realistically, when would that happen?

The second method is the no waste method using 1 square with four smaller squares.

I've never used this method before and would be interested to hear which one other members prefer, especially with regards to accuracy?
