Default My Hollyhock quilt - a 1930's pattern

I both pieced, appliqued, and quilted this quilt.l It's name is Hollyhock.
This quilt is from a book published by Mountain Mist back in the late 90's of 1930 quilt patterns they'd copyrighted. I inherited the book from my mom.

The materials are solid colors from Connecting Threads as well Kona Snow White, the thread is Essential Pro and Bottom line, the batting is Warm and Natural.

To quilt I ditched all seams. I used invisible thread by Superior around all appliques. I duplicated the appliqued flowers in quilting and 1/2"-crosshatched throughout the rest of the quilt.

I did this on a Bailey Pro 15 within a sit-down table.

My plan is to add a matching dark-blue removable bedskirt (using Velcro) to my bed so that I can remove when I'm not using this quilt.

Lots of work, lots of time, not perfect, but much worth it. At least in my opinion.

Sorry, it keeps posting the photos in the wrong orientation. They're turned sideways for some reason.
