I have one similar to yours, mine has the sewing machine picture on the lid. I purchased it in the 80's. Mine is in new condition and has "The Singer Manufacturing Co." etched in gold on one end. I looked inside and it had become the storage container for my little HST cut aways. Who knew? I had forgotten about them.
