Not really "vintage" just an aftermarket production. They came in an assortment of sizes/shapes with a few different patterns. The wastebasket is the hardest to get.

They came empty.

Not sure how long they were made - but newer ones have barcodes on them.

The original Singer Manufacturing Company, "Simanco" was very particular about the name Singer, and you would not find machines made by Singer with any other name on them. However as time went by lots of things changed (including the corporate name) and eventually The Singer Company started using "Singer" as a badge and it started showing up on other products.
