Ask as many questions as you want because even experienced quilters can learn new things that they've never encountered before. Tartan is right...start with something small so you get the feel of how to do a little piecing of a block or two & then the experience of sandwiching it together with the batting & backing & then the fun part of quilting all three pieces together.
