Not hardly!! that's one reason why I HAVE UFO's!! I'll see a pattern/quilt/some other inspiration, and BOOM!! Off I go, into the wild fabric yonder... then the initial excitement wanes, reality sets in, and the "what in the WORLD was I THINKING?!?!?" rears it's ugly head.
Then I stuff the poor, misbegotten "wild hair" into a bag/box/tote, to go "out of sight, out of mind", until I'm digging for something else... or trying to rescue my sewing room from UFO's.
Then I might drag it out, and put it on the "UFO Challenge" list... and maybe I finish it, and maybe I shudder and once again think "what in the WORLD was I THINKING?!?!?" and hide it from myself again.
Since I cannot bring myself to throw something away, eventually all these ugly ducklings will get finished.
Probably when I retire and can't afford to buy new fabric/kits/inspiration.
