Absolutely the way to do it. In FL, we are besieged with scams. If we don't know the caller shown on caller ID, we don't answer. We especially don't answer when it says, "blocked caller ID." Anyone can leave a message. If we feel like it, we'll get back to them. Who ever said the phone has to be answered? I pay for it and will answer if I know who's calling and I want to talk then. Period.
Agree with both of you, the only time they fool me is when they use a "local" number - but it sure cuts down on the junk calls.
