It might be a classic English Pieced block-I really don't know about that. However, I do know it can be sewn using some "Y" seams. They are not difficult to do if you mark the corners carefully so you know exactly where to start and stop your stitching. It is a beautiful block. As I look at it, there are several approaches to doing it.
