It was a last minute decision and I am a slow quilter, creator, crafter so I made it as easy as I could to have it complete before Christmas. Pre quilted background fabric to start, appliqués pumpkin and letters, which I did cut out myself from templates, and synthetic fabric leaves purchased in a package of about 30 from the Dollar store. Working with metallic thread for the first time took the most time and I still need to work on the correct setting for my machine. I was glad when that portion was over. I am very pleased and I can't wait to see my mom's smile when I give it to her.
