I, too, agree with zozee. Not too important at this age.
But maybe the blanket isn't a baby gift. A co-worker of my DH embroidered two fleece blankets with the name, date, weight & length when our first (yippee!) grandchild was born last year. When my DIL sent a thank you note, the co-worker told my hubby the blankets were for the grandmas because SHE couldn't remember that info for her own 8 grandchildren! Now I have one at my house for napping!
