The needle won't stay disengaged when the bobbin winder is engaged
I know my terminology is inaccurate - but maybe someone can help me.
I acquired a Singer 237 - and it works fine except that when I disengage the needle up and downer -
it stays disengaged until I engage the bobbin winder lever and then the needle goes up and down again.
It does not affect/afflict the other operations of the machine, but it should not do that.
Any suggestions on how to make it stop doing that?
