Judy, I remember in one mystery, you mentioned oversizing flying geese to trim down--do you remember which one it was? I'm thinking it might have been the one with the big stars, but I'm not sure where to look.

I didn't go to check which it was or where it was, but I do know that when I am making sawtooth using the regular flip and sew method, I cut the blocks for the geese portion the regular size and overcut the height of the base. For example a 6" goose would be 3-1/2 by 6-1/2 to finish in the quilt at 6 x 3. When I cut the big piece for the geese, I cut it 3-1/2 by 6-3/4. Also cut the corner piece that would have been 3-1/2" square, that that also at 3-3/4. Then trim the finished block at 12-1/2", trimming off the goose portion that sometimes gets wonky.
Angelia found it, but I'm posting it in case anyone else is interested.
