That is too funny-no matter the stories we make up to fit the apparent situation. I have two pair of
Ginger scissors-large and small. I keep them in a drawer with instructions not to use them. Then I have several pair of Fiskers scissors, also large and small, that are general use. I cut fabric, paper and template plastic with them. When they get dull I just sharpen them. I do not buy the idea that cutting paper dulls scissors or my rotary cutter and more than cutting fabric. Cutting the template plastic does dull them. But, it does need to be cut with something that is precise. I do not abuse them and expect others to do the same.
