Longarm quilters are pretty expensive I can't afford to have the quilts I donate quilted. Longarm quilting looks to complacated for me. I don't think I could ever get the hang of it. LOL Besides I don't have a place to set up the machine. Keep that sewing machine turned on. :) Pieces
Yes, I just machine quilt them on my sewing machine. Some people do straight stitch quilting, others do meandering free-motion quilting. I do the FMQ myself because it is what I like. The only thing you need to supply with these is the batting and your own thread and time. These are lots of fun to do because the patterns are simple, the fabrics are always beautiful and fun, and it's for a great cause. :)
