Hi, I live in a seaside town on the East Coast of South Africa. I have been quilting for ages - make from King size to Crib size - usually do the quilting by hand, but also do free quilting on my Elna Quilters Dream sewing machine. Like all quilters I cannot pass a fabric shop without popping in just to "browse" . Have just had to have more shelves put in my workroom and the stash keeps growing no matter how many quilts I make. My eldest son lives in Switzerland, my middle daughter lives in France and my youngest daughter lives in London, UK. So many quilts have been made and sent around the world.
Have never been on a chat room before, so this is all very new to me. At present I am busy with a hand applique King size quilt in an effort to use up some of the "precious" scraps and bits that I just cannot part with.
