I decided to add another row of blocks and put in a plum (purple) 1" border. Then I remembered that I had 200 or more crazy crumb 3 1/2" blocks put away so I pulled those out for the outside border. I ended up taking a 1/2" seam to join the crumb blocks so they would fit better. Still not perfect on the corner but I can live with that. I will use the same purple fabric for the binding. I love how it turned out. Decided the name maybe should be "Riot in the Stash Bin" or something along that line. One reason...there is a riot of strings on the back that need trimming! UGH!!
