joanelizbay, MD is no joke and it isn't fixable. Cataracts are. Surgery has become something that's almost expected since we are living longer. Please follow doctor's orders. So glad you have someone close to drive you. 40 years ago doc told my mother not to bend down or get riled up. "Don't do anything to raise your blood pressure." Ha! Mom rarely ever raised her voice!
