This is what I've been working using my 1955 Pfaff 60 treadle, 7.5" string blocks using mail order catalog pages. It's one of my favorite treadles;it "lives" in the family room. This picture is sideways, it wasn't that way when I shot the picture.
Here's a picture of some of the finished blocks. My son's GF took one look at my blocks and nearly panicked, she has OCD. She said there's no matching colors, too many colors in the block. I guess she won't be making any scrap quilts.
