Well, I personally wouldn't do applique for a baby quilt! They spit and make too many messes, I love to do rag quilts for babies! They are soft and don't take too much time. Just my opinion! I saw where they put minky on the back of a rag quilt. That's what I'm going to do for my next baby quilt!
