Thanks Thimblebug. Five weeks let you do a good exploration, and you probably didn't have enough time as it was. We felt that way in New Zealand, where we spend four weeks. Saw a lot, but not enough.
I love BC too. I live on the Olympic Peninsula and for about 10 years we would travel north to our cabin on an island off Ketchikan, AK. We used to laugh about our directions for getting there. Cross the border at Sumas, take a left at Hope, take another left in Prince George, catch the ferry at Prince Rupert, and there you are, 1000 miles later.
