Sometimes things just don't seem to go perfectly no matter what you do. I have a rule.... If I have a seam that's off I'll rip it out and resew. If it's still not right I'll rip out again. Then if it's STILL not perfect I leave it be. Sometimes ripping out just makes it worse if the fabric gets stretched or ravels in the process.
