I agree that kind of money could be used elsewhere for the needy. If it's strictly donated money from benefactors of the museum then it's their business. Although there are probably other things that kind of funds can be used for within the museum. Such as procuring artifacts, preserving said artifacts etc.
As long as our hard earned tax money isn't used for such foolishness, it's none of my business.
