While we are discussing the Toyota machine, do you think you could get me the JA and the JC numbers off of your machine? I am doing some research on the Japanese machines and the ability to date and see where they were manufactured. A lot of the Japanese machines were badged and a bunch of them were/are being made in India. The JA number should be cast under the bed and the JC should be stamped or inked on the side of the bed somewhere. If you have any information as to when it was made (like original sales slips, copyright dates on an owners manual)
Believe it or not that machine of yours has a lot of history behind it and the company was responsible for a lot of really cool 50's styling and colors. :thumbup:
