Most of my thread is the "older" cotton covered polyester Dual Duty thread made by Coats & Clark.
None of my machines object to it.
I did not even know about some of these other threads until I started reading this forum.
I've started using some of the polyester threads that I bought when I was sewing knits back in the 70s.
