Mary made this block of the month, but thought it needed to be brightened up a little. She designed and added the blocks with the white background, and I must say I love what she did! I used a pale lavender thread on the dark blocks and white thread on the light blocks. I like how the lavender thread blended into the darker fabrics, as I was afraid it might overpower the blocks, but it did not. Also the back looks lovely and it is hard to tell where the lavender thread was used. A lot of ruler work done on this beautiful quilt. Love how it turned out!!
