Yes go ahead and use it. I love muslin because it gets softer and whiter the more it is washed. I made a whole quilt from muslin with Card Trick as the centre of each block in red blue green and yellow. My husband said it was the best quilt I'd made up until then. The young lady who received it loves it and as she is now living in Canberra (Australia's Capital) I'm hoping it will get plenty of use come winter.
