Many years ago (35-40 years) when I started in insurance, it was quite popular to get Crown Royal as Christmas gifts. We didn't drink much so at one point I had quite a collection - so if someone was waiting for my CR bags I would have to give it to them with the bottle in it. It never occurred to me to go ask a bar to save them.
