I think the repaint of the 28 hand crank makes it fit in better with your other black & gold machines. I don't know which decals would have been used in 1894. I know that about 1903 & 1905 you will see a lot of the Sphinx decals (which I personally don't care for - but have three 27s that have the Sphinx decals)
