Just finished this this weekend. 1,591 2.5" squares made up of scraps in my stash. I only bought the backing. I always wondered just how many different fabrics I have accumulated over the years, so kept track as I quilted it - 623 different fabrics. As is usually the case, I like the look of the hand-quilted back just as much as the colorful front.
