I have had one for a number of years now - maybe 10. I like it. I, too, purchased after a demo at a quilt shop thinking their demo was interesting as well. I also have a Rowenta which I like as well. I don't think the Euro is as heavy as the Rowenta but it does do a good job. You do need to use distilled water. No biggie for me as I just pick up a jug at the grocery store as my Rowenta also requires distilled water.

I think the Rowenta does a better job 'dry' but both work equally well with steam, in my opinion. I did have to have hubs replace the plug a couple of years ago but that's it.
