Years ago had two female 90lb dobermans and I had vet give me pills for first two times and after that they would lay and let me use Dremel tool on their toenails. They were too tough to cut, and I could see when almost to quick to quit. Also with nails kept down they didn't dig to China in the yard. And now I use people nail cutters on many of the the RT's we have here.
