Hi to Everyone ~
I've been enjoying this website for about 6 months and I finally decided to introduce myself. I'm a semi-retired nurse (I only work per diem now) and I've been quilting for about four years. I've had many passions in my life ...... that have come and gone ...... but, I believe that quilting and knitting are here to stay :wink: . My other "therapies" have been cross stitch, basket weaving, and rubber stamping/card making. I belong to a wonderful quilt guild, whose members never cease to inspire me. The guild has about 100 members, some of whom are charter members from 1989 when the guild was conceived. Let me tell you, some of these gals are true accomplished quilters! I'm still finding my niche with quilting. I try everything at least once. I like to paper piece and machine applique. Well that's the scoop on me and I just want to end saying that I am amazed at some of the talent I've seen on this website. You guys are GOOD! ~ Nita
