Thanks quiltingshorttimer. The quilt is currently on display at a local gallery, but I'm going over there on Friday evening for the opening of the show that it's in and I'll try to get a good closeup then.
In the meantime, if you have a track pad like the ones on some laptop computers, you may be able to expand the picture by placing your thumb and forefinger close together on the pad and then opening them out. That works on my machine and allows me to see close-ups of most of the pics posted here on QB. I'm not sure if that can be done with a machine that uses a mouse instead of the trackpad.
