I make a similar dish but instead of green beans I use Ranch Style beans, some chili powder and garlic salt and sometimes add chopped green bell pepper, I add two or three small cans of tomato sauce, have never tried tomato soup with this. I cook everything except the potatoes in my large cast iron skillet on top of the stove, cook the potatoes separately, mash them and then add them to the top of the dish and serve. This way I only have a couple of dishes to clean up-I like to make cooking as easy as possible since I hate to cook.
