Nice! One of the LQS in my area has a deal where if you come in on your birthday you get 20% off, and every year I go and treat myself to a little birthday shopping spree. A couple years ago, Easter landed on my birthday so they were closed. I called and asked if I could come in on Saturday and get the birthday discount and they said no!! NO exceptions to the rule. I feel bad for anybody whose birthday is on a non-moving holiday, like Christmas! They NEVER get that discount!
I was so disappointed by that answer that I haven't gone back since. It seems petty but I just don't have that "warm & friendly" feeling there anymore that made me willing to pay a premium to buy fabric there instead of online.
