Maybe someday won't ever come. :-) Check out eBay and craigslist and local thrift shops like Goodwill or Volunteers of America. My husband bought mine at an antique shop for $25, and it sews smoothly, like cutting through soft butter. If it's space in your home you are waiting for, the treadle cabinet is not so big. You just would need an area the size of 2 dining room chairs side by side, something like 18" x 36" maybe.
